Profile Summary
African Metals Corporation is a Canada-based exploration-stage mineral exploration company. The Company is engaged in the exploration and evaluation of assets located in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC). It holds an interest in the Luisha copper-cobalt property (Luisha), which consists of approximately 20 parcels of land located northwest of Lubumbashi, the capital of Katanga province, DRC. The Luisha project has an Indicated Mineral Resource of approximately 50,000 tons of contained copper metal and over 5,000 tons of contained cobalt metal. The Company delivered approximately 7,816 dry metric tons (DMT) of low-grade stockpile material from Luisha project. Its subsidiaries are Chevalier Resources Inc., Kundelungu Mineral Resources Sprl, Luisha Mining Enterprises Sprl, African Metals Holdings (BVI) Ltd. and African Metals Resources (BVI) Ltd.
